Planning staff from Missouri’s regional planning commissions participated once again in the Missouri Chapter of the American Planning Association (MO-APA) “Planner’s Day at the Capitol” on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. The event offered the opportunity for these regional planners to meet with key legislative leaders to reinforce the vital importance of planning at the local, regional and statewide level, and how regional planning commissions are the key planning partners helping to implements an increasing variety of state and federal programs across the state. These planners from the Southwest Missouri COG and the Harry S. Truman CC enjoyed a break from the day’s activities on the Capitol steps.
