Mo-Kan Regional Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathy Hahn as its new Executive Director, effective April 15, 2026.
Hahn brings experience with the organization and a strong background in finance, administration, and regional development. She first joined Mo-Kan in 2015 as a Loan Officer, departed in 2018, and returned in July of 2022 as the Fiscal Officer. In October 2024, she was promoted to Deputy Director, where she played a role in overseeing organizational operations and financial management.
Hahn is a graduate of Missouri Western State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphases in Management and Finance, along with a minor in Economics.
“I am passionate about the mission of Mo-Kan Regional Council and the resources and grant opportunities we provide to our communities,” said Hahn. “I am committed to strengthening regional partnerships and continuing to expand programs that support economic development and community growth.”
Founded in 1968, Mo-Kan Regional Council is recognized by the states Missouri and Kansas, as well as the federal government. The organization serves a diverse region that includes Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton and DeKalb counties in Missouri; Atchison and Doniphan counties in Kansas; and the municipality of Morrill in Brown County, Kansas.
