Following a three year pause, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) Denver Region held a regional conference in Denver hosted by EDA Denver Region Director Angela Martinez and attended by USDOC Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development Alejandra Y. Castillo. Missouri’s regional planning commissions, in their role as federally-designated Economic Development Districts, attended the conference to learn about upcoming EDA programs and initiatives, hear about best practices in regional community development, and to network with EDA leadership, staff and partners.
