MACOG and Missouri’s RPCs participated in the Missouri Chapter – at the Capitol on March 1, 2023. Coordinated through the Southwest Missouri Council of Governments, RPC staff visited legislative offices to share the positive role of planning throughout many facets of state and local community development, including the key role Missouri’s RPCs play in supporting their local communities in engagement with many state and federal partner agencies. The Planners’ Day included presentations of the Mo-APA Great Places in Missouri awards like for the City of Versailles recognizing its downtown neighborhoods.
